When recording a spell, the following format may be useful. It is recommended that you keep a spellbook with spells written into it. Because it really is up to each player to create their own spells, you'll find that sometimes two spells with the same components might conflict slightly - in this case, the GM has the final say. In lore, this discrepancy can be justified by the highly personal nature of spellcasting, though.
Spell Name
Core Rune: The core runes involved, and the number of Chi points points invested in each.
Shape Rune: The Shape rune used, and the number of chi points invested in it.
Range Rune: The Range rune used, and the number of chi points invested in it.
Description: An overview of the effects described by the runes involved and any other rules they may interact with.
