Imperial History : A detailed timeline of the Empire's history.
In the beginning, there was the Void. Silent, yet wailing. Quiet yet full of energy. In the Celestial Heavens, energy sprung into life, forming the Hikai. In turn, they shaped the mortal world below, and tasked the Reiki, spirits of nature, to look after it.
Centuries, perhaps millenia have passed. The mighty Elves have fallen into legend. The Unseelie, once feared by every other race in the world, have mysteriously vanished. The Ton’keena catfolk have become the dominant race, joining the Kitsune, and Dwarves amongst others, and honour the Hikai. Their Empires shine, but one more than most : the Empire of Heibesu, the most advanced Ton'keena nation, and its millennia-long history.
But can the Empire last forever? Civil war looms over Imperial holdings. Undead are sighted everywhere. Strange creatures roam free and, on the recent sites of bloody battles, evil spirits shroud the land with despair and anguish. The most eminent of wizards are predicted dark times ahead. Adventurers are gathering from all over the world, so can there still be hope beyond the setting sun?
